WOLCOTT, Colo. – The ULM women's golf team continued the fall season, competing in the Red Sky Classic hosted by Golfweek in Wolcott, Colorado. The team recorded an 887 (+23) across three rounds, finishing 19th of 20 teams. The Warhawks logged a stunning 287 in round 1, before recording a 307 in the second round and a 293 in the final.

Alice Mårtensson led the team with a 215 (-1), as she logged an even-par 72 in the first 18, before logging a 74 in the second round. Mårtensson then scored three-under for a 69 on the final round to land 41st on the leaderboard. She rounded out her third-round showing with an eagle on hole 15, while also posting 12 birdies. 

Returner Isabel Mas Pitarch sank nine birdies on her way to a 222 (+6) finish. Mas Pitarch finished with a 70 in the opening round, before recording a 77 and a 75. Charlotte Bouquet, much like Mårtensson, logged an even-par 72 in the first round of play before posting an 81 followed by a 71 for a total score of 224 (+8). Tessa Ion recorded a 226 (+10), with a 73-75-78 score, an eagle coming in the second round on hole 11. 

A whopping 47-under placed Southern California in first place in the event, with a 14-stroke lead on second place. But it was Miami's Scarlett Schremmer who claimed the individual title with a 199 (-17) on her scorecard.

The Warhawks will be back in action on October 5, competing in The Ally. The three-day event, hosted by Mississippi State, will be held in Starkville.
