• The ULM women's basketball team returns to Sun Belt Conference action on Thursday (Feb. 15) as ULM plays its third game of a four-game road trip at South Alabama. The Warhawks and Jaguars are set to square off at 5 p.m. at the Mitchell Center in Mobile, Alabama.
• The upstart ULM women's basketball team has secured 15 wins so far this season, the most in program history since the 2010-11 season. The program won a total of 14 games in the previous three seasons. ULM's six-game conference winning streak in January was the longest in ULM history in 19 years. The Warhawks strung together the longest conference winning streak (six games) since the 2004-05 team, who won 11-straight conference games to conclude the regular season.

Sania Wells led ULM with 13 points, but the ULM women's basketball team (15-9, 7-5 Sun Belt) fell to Toledo (18-4, 10-1 MAC) on Saturday (Feb. 10) afternoon at Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio in the second game of the MAC-SBC Challenge.
Johnson racked up her first double-double in a ULM uniform after totaling 12 points and 10 boards. Bradford's double-double was her second in as many games and fourth of the season with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Johnson and Wells both knocked down a trio of 3-point baskets and made 6-of-7 three-pointers for the Warhawks. The duo both added four assists each to their stat lines.
Brianna Harris and
Katlyn Manuel both finished with eight points.
THURSDAY'S GAME BASICS
ULM and the Jaguars will meet for the second time this season Thursday evening at the Mitchell Center in Mobile, Ala. ULM pulled away in the second half versus South Alabama inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum in the first mtchup and won 67-51. The Warhawks have not won inside the Mitchell Center since 2016, when ULM defeated South Alabama 67-54. South Alabama leads the all-time series, 22-11.
Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+. The game also will air on KMLB 105.7 FM/540 AM and the TuneIn app on the Warhawk Radio Network from Learfield with Ben Milam on the play-by-play.
PREVIEWING SOUTH ALABAMA
After winning their first SBC game of the season at Texas State last week, the Jags fell on the road at James Madison and at Eastern Michigan in the MAC-SBC Challenge.
Sophomore guard Kelsey Thompson leads South Alabama in scoring with 12.5 points per game and has a team-high 60 assists and 28 steals. The Mobile native has shot 32.9% from the floor this season and has drained 26 3-pointers. Zena Elias has grabbed 7.5 rebounds per game and has poured in 6.6 points per game.Â
Yolisha Jackson is in her first year leading the Jaguars after serving as an assistant coach for seven seasons in Mobile. Jackson was previously an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at South Florida. She played at Jacksonville University, where she scored over 1,000 career points.
