ULM Football Adds 11 New Warhawks on National Signing Day

The Warhawks complete the 2024 signing class ranked fourth in the SBC according to Rivals, the highest ranking in the past three years.

MONROE, La. – The ULM football team welcomed 11 new members of the Warhawk football family on Wednesday (Feb. 7) on National Signing Day. According to Rivals, the Warhawks completed the 2024 signing class ranked fourth in the Sun Belt Conference, the highest ranking in the past three years.
 
"Today, we were able to add 11 players to our roster after signing 30 as part of the early signing period in December," ULM football head coach Bryant Vincent said. "We have been able to get this roster up to our standards and help what we are trying to build here."
 
ULM's signees represent six different states including Louisiana (1), Alabama (4), Mississippi (3), Nebraska (1), Oklahoma (1) and Virginia (1). The signees include seven junior college transfers and four high school prospects. Of the 11 signees, six are on the offensive side of the ball and five are on the defensive side.

Coach Vincent: "Amarion Ware was a huge get for us. He's the right kind of kid and will give us size we need inside and up front."

Caleb Groce
WR / Cropwell, Ala. / Pell City HS
Before ULM: Three-sport athlete (football, basketball and baseball) at Pell City High School in Alabama...Racked up 1,700 total yards, 14 touchdowns and three pass breakups his junior season
Coach Vincent: "We are fired up about Caleb Groce joining our team. He has played multiple positions, and has played quarterback most of his career. He has a very high ceiling. He was a huge add for us at the receiver position."

Miles Hill
DB / Bixby, Okla. / Northeastern Oklahoma A&M
Before ULM: Made eight total tackles, including a season high seven tackles versus Southern Shreveport his first season at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M
Coach Vincent: "Miles is a physical football player and is extremely intelligent. He is a great open field tackler and can play multiple positions in our secondary."

Javon Campbell
WR / King George, Va. / Dodge City CC
Before ULM: Tallied 47 receptions for 720 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in two seasons at Dodge City CC...Averaged 15.3 yards/catch and 48.0 yards/game for the Conquistadors
Coach Vincent: "Javon has great ball skills and great body control. He can really run and stretch the field and is dynamic with the football in his hands. He is a physical receiver."

Seidrion Langston
LB / Lanett, Ala. / Coffeyville CC
Before ULM: State champion and all-area at Lanett High School in Alabama...All-conference honoree at Coffeyville CC...Racked up 35 total tackles, 2 interceptions, 4 pass breakups and 1.5 TFLs in one season at Coffeyville CC
Coach Vincent: "Seidrion is a change of direction linebacker we are looking for at the outside linebacker position. He's a great kid and is a tremendous asset defensively for us." 

Chandler Wilson

Before ULM: Three star tight end out of Spanish Fort High School...All-state honoree
Coach Vincent: "Chandler is tough, rugged and physical. He is able to play the "U" position and the "Y" position. He loves football and is a tremendously hard worker. He's a guy we feel is going to have a great career here and do a lot for this team."

Jaeden Calender
LB / Brandon, Miss. / Brandon HS
Before ULM: State champion finalist in 2023 at Brandon High School in Mississippi...Led Mississippi and was No. 5 in the nation with 216 total tackles his senior year...Tallied 12.0 sacks and one forced fumble 
Coach Vincent: "Jaeden is a tough linebacker and is a football junkie. He is an outstanding student, and he is the kind of player we want leading our defense in the future."

Ahmad Hardy
RB / Monticello, Miss. / Lawrence County HS
Before ULM: All-state, all-area and all-conference most valuable player at Lawrence County High School in Mississippi...Totaled 2,200 rushing yards his senior season
Coach Vincent: "Ahmad runs with speed and power. He is the type of running back we look for in this offense and that we can put in the pistol and get downhill. He can run through you, he can run by you and he can hit the big ones. In my opinion, I felt Ahmad was the best running back in the state of Mississippi, and to be able to get him here in this class is a big deal to help us in what we are trying to build."

Nate Sullivan
TE / Bellevue, Neb. / Iowa Western CC
Before ULM: All-state and all-honorable mention team selection and state champion at Bellevue West High School in Nebraska...Member of the NJCAA National Championship football team at Iowa Western Community College...Recorded nine receptions for 182 yards and one touchdown at IWCC and averaged 20.2 yards/reception
Coach Vincent: "Nate is a former outside receiver and can pose matchup problems for opposing defenses. He was on the national championship team at Iowa Western this year and we are really excited about his speed and athleticism he brings at the tight end position."

Ethan Howard
TE / Breaux Bridge, La. / East Central CC
Before ULM: First team all-state and first team all-district in football at Cecilia High School...Second team all-district in basketball at Cecilia HS...First team All-ECCC, first team all-region and NJCAA Second Team All-American at East Central CC...Totaled 29 receptions for 439 yards and seven touchdowns at East Central CC in 2023
Coach Vincent: "Ethan can come in her and make an immediate impact. He's athletic, he's tough, he's strong and he can really move. He's a guy we felt like we had to get on our roster to come in and improve our tight end room for what we do offensively."

Jacob Foster

Coach Vincent: "Jacob is a 6-2, 225-pound linebacker. He is a tough, rugged, throwback football player. He can run and has outstanding change of direction. He plays with the right mentality that we are looking for in our defensive players. He is a guy that will bring a lot of toughness and brings the right mentality for our football program."
