MONROE, La. -- Former ULM women's basketball standout
Daisha Bradford will begin her professional basketball career with Puerto Rico's San German Atleticas, as she recently signed a professional contract to play with the club.
"We are extremely proud of NuNu and excited for this next step in her journey," ULM women's basketball head coach
Missy Bilderback said. " She worked very hard and approached each day with a mindset to play professional basketball. There is no doubt in my mind she will have tremendous success and have a long career. We are thankful for her impact on our program at ULM and cannot wait to support her!"
Bradford is ULM's all-time single-season scoring record holder after racking up 675 points during the 2023-24 season. One of the most electrifying guards in the Sun Belt Conference, Bradford was named SBC Newcomer of the Year and All-SBC Second Team. She appeared on the SBC leaderboard in a plethora of statistical categories including fourth in scoring, third in 3-point field goals per game and fifth in assists.
She also led ULM with 50 steals and reached double figures in all but three games, including a trio of 30-point games. Bradford helped the Warhawks to their most victories since 2004-05 and their first postseason victories since 1985 in the WNIT with wins over Grambling State and Southern Miss. Additionally, Bradford earned All-Louisiana First Team honors, Sun Belt Player of the Week accolades on Jan. 23 and LSWA Player of the Week recognition three times.
The San German Atleticas compete in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional Femenino, the top professional women's basketball league in Puerto Rico.
