The first half was full of fouls for the Warhawks, taking on eight fouls in the first 45 minutes of the match. ULM led in shots 6-2 and corners 4-0, but the Warhawks and the Cowgirls ended the half tied 0-0 with McNeese goalkeeper Jackie Kelly logging five saves.Â

The second half started as foul-ridden and shot-heavy as the first, as both teams looked to take the lead. In the 63
rd minute, a McNeese foul gave Van Brummelen the opportunity to score the game winner on a penalty kick. This is the senior midfielder's first goal of the season and second of her career.Â

13 minutes later, another penalty kick was given to ULM, Douglas scoring her fourth goal in five matches. With her second PK of the season, Douglas now ranks fifth all-time in season penalty kicks.
The game was ended shortly after due to a weather delay.

The Warhawks hit the road this weekend, taking on the Little Rock Trojans in Little Rock. The match will kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Sunday's match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
