NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Devin Bilbo and
Juwan Blignaut set school and Sun Belt Conference records as the ULM indoor track and field program finished day two of the Vanderbilt Invitational on Saturday.
Bilbo won the men's 60m hurdles with a school record 7.80 time. Blignaut recorded a sub-four-minute mile with a 3:58.02 time, securing a win and setting a Sun Belt record for the event.
Stafon Roach secured third in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.35. Sanatana Richardson placed 14 in the men's 400m with a time of 48.38.
Matthew Malcolm was 24
th with a 49.37 time. Joseph Morgan placed within the top 30 of the men's 800m with a mark of 1:55.76. In the men's 3000m, Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo was in 26
th place with an 8:26.73 time. The team of White,
Seneca Portlock,
Imani Coleman, and
Ericleon May placed ninth in the men's 4x400. In the men's shot put,
Mikun Adeniran placed ninth with a score of 14.45.
For the women,
Cora Burger placed 16
th in the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.51. In the 400m,
Hedda van Dort came in 20
th place with a 57.99 time. Katerina Natsiopoulou got 17
th in the 800m with a time of 2:13.73. The women's 4x400 had the same result as the team of Natsiopoulou,
Mikayla Douglas, van Dort, and
Brianna Taylor placed ninth.
The Warhawks take a week off before they travel to Houston to compete in the Robert Platt Invitational. The two-day meet will start on Friday, Jan. 31, and will continue through the next day on Saturday, Feb. 1.
