The Basics
ULM indoor track and field continues the 2025 campaign from Friday, Jan. 31 through Saturday, Feb. 1 in Houston at the Robert Platt Invitational.
The main focus of competition for the Warhawks will be the Ragin' Cajuns, who enter as the only other Sun Balt school competing. Outside of the host team in Houston, other teams competing include Rice, Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston State, and Lamar.

The women's pentathlon starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. on Friday while the men start their heptathlon at 11:30 a.m. On Saturday, the men's heptathlon continues at 10 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m.
Friday's field events begin at 9:30 a.m. with the men's weight throw, followed by the women's pole vault at 3 p.m., women's weight throw at 4 p.m., and men's and women's triple jump at 4:30 p.m. Running events start at 4 p.m. with the men's and women's 1000m, 60m hurdles, 60m, 5000m, and 400m runs, with the projected finish at 7:45 p.m.
On Saturday, the high jump starts the field events at 11 a.m. The shot put begins at noon followed by the long jump at 2 p.m. before finishing with the men's pole vault at 3 p.m. Running events start at noon with the 600y race, and includes the 60m hurdles, 60m, mile, 800m, 200m, 3000m, and ends with the 4x400m relay.
Last Time Out
Devin Bilbo and
Juwan Blignaut led the way in a strong showing at the Vanderbilt Invitational to start the season. Bilbo won gold in the 60m hurdles, breaking the school record with a 7.80 time. Blignaut broke the school and Sun Belt Conference record in the mile with a 3:58.02 time.
Stafon Roach also reached the podium, earning third place in the triple jump with a 15.35 result.
