MONROE, La. – A lack of offense from ULM volleyball led to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-12) loss to Troy Friday afternoon.

In set one, the Trojans (RECORD) started fast with an 11-5 advantage early. The Warhawks (RECORD) used a 4-1 scoring run to close the gap to three, but a 7-1 run by Troy put the set out of reach at 19-10. Six more points for the visitors and five for the home team concluded the set, resulting in a ten-point Trojan set win.

ULM again fell behind in the second set, resulting in a 12-5 score. Helped by a 7-3 run, which included three Warhawks errors, Troy held a daunting 20-11 lead before ULM used a 5-1 run to bring the set within five points. The Trojans maintained control, however, and secured the set, putting the Warhawks in a 2-0 hole going into the third.

Both teams started the third set close, with the Trojans holding a narrow 6-4 lead. With a 6-1 run by the visitors, they established control in the set with a seven-point lead. The Warhawks never got back in it and dropped set three, leading to a three-set loss to end the series.

Amelia Piekut led the team in kills with seven and contributed two aces on the day.
Morgan Howard produced 12 assists and seven digs, both leading the team.

The Warhawks will travel for the final time of the 2025 season with a road trip down south to Lafayette to take on the Ragin' Cajuns next weekend.
