The ULM men's basketball team (6-19, 2-10) plays the second game of a two-game series against Southern Miss (10-16, 5-8) on Saturday. The Warhawks are looking to snap a three-game losing streak

A loss to Texas State on Thursday set ULM's conference record to 2-11. The Warhawks enter this week 13th in Sun Belt standings, leading Coastal Carolina by a single game and trailing 12th place Ragin' Cajuns by three games.

SERIES HISTORY –

The Warhawks lead the all-time series 27-17, and have won five of the past seven ,atchups dating back to December of 2020. ULM dropped the first matchup of the season in a 67-84 loss in January. 

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES –

Southern Miss has lost its last three games , including a 101-67 loss on the road to Arkansas State on Wednesday. With a 5-8 conference record, the Golden Eagles begin this week in a tie for tenth place with two other teams possessing a 5-8 record. 

Leading in scoring for the Golden Eagles is graduate transfer Denijay harris, who last played for Arkansas, and averages 16.4 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game. Tyrel Morgan Neftali Harris and Andre Curbelo also average double-digits points with 10.5 and 10.1 ppg respectively. 
 

LOOKING AHEAD –

The Warhawks will start their final road trip of the regular season on Wednesday (Feb. 19) at Texas State.
