HOUSTON – Two more first-place finishes by
Sydney Lake and
Katerina Nastiopoulou were the highlights of the ULM indoor track and field team's performance at the Howie Ryan Invitational on Friday.

The Warhawks also sent athletes to the Don Derby Elite invite in New Mexico and the David Hemery Valentine Meet in Boston.

Lake won in the weight throw with a 16.90m (55-5.50) mark, while Nastiopoulou placed first in the 800m with a 2:14.36 time.

For the men,
Imani Coleman and
Matthew Malcolm finished third and fourth in the 400m race. Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo also placed fourth in the mile with a 4:13.73 time.
Benedikt Schweizer earned sixth place in the weight throw, and
J'Marcus Sewell placed seventh in the 60m.
Santana Richardson and
Reid Guirlando placed eighth and ninth in the 400m and 800m, respectively.

Along with the two first-place finishers for the women,
Anna Naff also earned a podium finish, placing third in the mile.
Hedda van Dort placed fifth in the 400m with a 57.07 time.

Juwan Blignaut ran for his second sub-four-minute mile in Boston on Friday, earning him a top 25 finish out of over 350 runners.

The Warhawks will compete in the Sun Belt Indoor Conference Championships starting Monday, Feb. 24, and continuing through the next day.
