RUSTON, La. – The ULM tennis team (2-2) dropped their match against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (8-2) on Tuesday (Feb. 18), falling 1-6 in Ruston, La.
 
The duos of Cado/Jorrin finished first on Court 2, falling 2-6 to Alice Brook and Maria Tsironi of Louisiana Tech. On Court 3, doubles duo Alvaro/Li fell 1-6 to secure the doubles point for the Bulldogs.
 
In singles play, Raquel Alvaro fell in straight sets, along with Mariam Hatem and Vanja Cado in their respective matches. Lucia Jorrin Fernandez claimed the lone point for the Warhawks, defeating her opponent in straight sets, 6-3 and 6-4. Tingyi Li and Mariia Iordanova also fell in singles play, solidifying Louisiana Tech victory.
 
The ULM tennis team will remain on the road, traveling to Natchitoches, La. to take on the Northwestern State Demons on Thursday (Feb. 20). First serve is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
