MONROE – Sophomore jumper Stafon Roach was named Sun Belt Conference Field Athlete of the Week on Wednesday morning.
 
Roach competed in the Don Kirby Elite Invite in Albuquerque, N.M. last weekend, placing third in the triple jump with a personal-best 15.68m (51'-5.5'') mark.
 
In 2025, Roach has placed inside the top ten in the triple jump at every meet, including a third-place finish at the Vanderbilt Invitational (1/17-18) and a first-place finish at the UAB Green and Gold invite (2/8).
 
Roach and the Warhawks will compete at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships starting on Monday, Feb. 24, and ending on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
