The Basics
The ULM indoor track and field team travels to Birmingham, Ala. To compete in the UAB Green and Gold Invite on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Sun Belt Conference competition featured this weekend includes Georgia State, Southern Miss, and Troy. The meet also features in-state schools, with Grambling State and Loyola-New Orleans competing.

Field events begin with the men's and women's shot put at 9 a.m., the men's and women's long jump start at 9:30 a.m., and the women's pole vault is at 10:30 a.m. After the men's high jump at 11:30 a.m., both weight throws start at 1 p.m. The men's and women's triple jump and the men's pole vault compete at 2 p.m., and the field events will conclude at 3 p.m. with the women's high jump.
For the running events, the 60m and 60m hurdles will have prelims and semi-finals starting at 9:30 a.m. The 600m run starts at 11:15 a.m., and the mile is at 11:45 a.m. The 400m starts at 12:30 p.m., and at 2 p.m., the 60m races will conclude with the men's and women's finals. The 800m and 200m will begin at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. respectively, followed by the 3000m at 4:15 p.m. Running events for the day end with the 4x400m relay at 5:30 p.m.
Last Time Out
Juwan Blignaut and
Devin Bilbo shined again last weekend. Bilbo took first place in the 60m hurdles for the second time in 2025, and Blignaut won in both the 1000m and 3000m, setting a school record in the 3000m race.

Algirdas Strelciunas also placed on the podium in the 800m and Long Jump, respectively.
