NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The ULM tennis team (1-1) dropped their second match of the season to the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks (4-2), falling 0-7. This comes after a strong 6-1 opening match against Grambling State
 
The duo of Hatem/Iordanova fell 0-6 to SFA, with Jorrin/Cado getting a point in, falling 1-6. The final doubles match, consisting of Alvaro/Krnjic went unfinished, with the Warhawks picking up two points in the 2-5 loss.
 
Mariam Hatem lost her undefeated streak, falling to Felicia Back of the Ladyjacks, 6-3, 6-1. Tingyi Li made her first appearance of the spring season, falling to the same count to Ksenia Mamontova. Newcomer Enna Krnjic fell to Antonella Taco and Vanja Cado fell to Sonja Rooth in straight sets. Both Lucia Jorrin Fernandez and Mariia Iordanova took their opponents to seven points in the first set, ultimately both falling 7-5 and then again in the second sets.
 
The Warhawks will remain on the road to take on Louisiana Tech on Wednesday (Feb. 12). First serve in Ruston is scheduled for 3 p.m.
