MONROE, La. – College Sports Communicators announced their Men's and Women's Basketball Academic All-District honorees, with women's basketball player Cianté Downs named to the list.Â

Senior guard Cianté Downs made 19 starts and 30 appearances this season, averaging 5.2 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game. A staple in the starting lineup, Downs scooped up 34 steals and 67 assists throughout the season.
