The ULM outdoor track and field team takes on a two-meet Saturday when they travel to the Leon Johnson Invitational in Natchitoches and the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday.
 
Competition for the Warhawks include Northwestern State and McNeese State at the Leon Johnson Invitational and Sun Belt schools including the Ragin' Cajuns, Arkansas State, Troy in the Crimson Tide Invitational.
 
Meet Schedule
On Saturday in Natchitoches, the field events start at 10 a.m. with the discus throw, long jump, and shot put. Starting at 11 a.m. is the pole vault and high jump followed by the javelin and hammer throw at 2 p.m., and the triple jump at 2:30 p.m.
 
In the running events. 3000m steeplechase begins at 1 p.m. followed by the 4x100m relays at 1:30 p.m. and the 1500m race at 1:45 p.m. The women's 100m hurdles and men's 110m hurdles start at 2 p.m. and the 100m race begins at 2:15 p.m. At 2:30 p.m. is the 400m with the 800m, 400m hurdles, and 200m races scheduled to follow. The day ends with the 5000m at 3:30 p.m. and 4x400m relays.
 
At the Crimson Tide Classic, Savanna Lawson starts the day for the Warhawks in the women's long jump at 12:30 p.m. with Algirdas Strelciunas following in the men's event at 12:40 p.m. Lawson also competes in the 100m hurdles at 1:25 p.m., and Devin Bilbo starts in the men's 110m hurdles after.
 
Stafon Roach enters the triple jumps at 4:05 p.m. and Juwan Blignaut competes in the 800m at 4:15 p.m. Ali Eren Unlu ends the day with the high jump at 4:30 p.m.
