BATON ROUGE, La. -- Juwan Blignaut (1500m) and Stafon Roach (Triple Jump) both won their events while Savanna Lawson (Long Jump) took second place and Matthe Malcolm (400m Hurdles) placed third to highlight podium finishes for the ULM track and field team at the LSU Alumni Gold meet in the team's final meet before the Sun Belt Conference Track & Field Championships.

Blignaut recorded a time of 3:44.39 to take first out of 11 competitors in the 1500m. Roach took first in the triple jump after leaping 15.83m (51-11.25) on his first attempt and placed first out of 11 jumpers. Lawson brought home a second-place finish with a jump of 5.86m (19-02.75). Malcolm clocked a personal-best time of 51.36 in the 400m hurdles for third place.

Other notable marks from the Warhawks on Saturday included a personal-best time for Sierra Barrera in the 1500m with a 4:39.51. Benedikt Schweizer launched a throw of 59.29 (194-06) for a personal-best in the hammer throw.

The Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Harrisonburg, Va. from May 8-10.
