TROY, Ala. – The ULM tennis team (3-12, 0-9 Sun Belt) fell in their match at Troy (10-7, 5-3 Sun Belt) on Sunday morning (April 6). Due to weather constraints, doubles play did not occur, both teams electing to play the singles matches.
 
Gabrielle Leslie of Troy defeated Mariam Hatem on court one in straight sets. Camila Molina Barranco and Raquel Alvaro also fell in straight sets to give Troy their second and third wins. While Mariia Iordanova held on against Lenna Metwally, falling in a tight 5-7 match, Metwally took the second set for the fourth match and winning point for the Trojans. Tingyi Li and Enna Krnjic both went unfinished.
 
ULM Tennis will return home next weekend, taking on nonconference opponent UTEP on Friday (April 11) and South Alabama on Saturday.
