JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stafon Roach qualified for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships on day three of the NCAA East First Round on Friday afternoon.

Roach, a sophomore from Georgetown, Guyana, scored a 15.98m distance in the triple jump ranking seventh overall, comfortably making the top 12 cutoff to advance to Eugene, Oregon. The Warhawks have sent a triple jumper to Eugene for the third year in a row, with
Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi representing in the first two years.

With a chance to advance in the 110m hurdles,
Devin Bilbo finished 20
th with a 13.78 time, his second-best mark of the outdoor season.

Mikun Adeniran and
Ali Eren Unlu also competed on Friday. Adeniran placed 37
th in the discus throw with a 50.85m mark, while Unlu ranked 26
th with a height of 2.05m.

The NCAA Championships will take place from Wednesday, June 11, through Saturday, June 14. Roach will compete in the triple jump, which is scheduled for Friday, June 13.
