Roach Places Eighth, Earns First Team All-American Honors

Stafon Roach gives the Warhawks a First Team All-American for the second straight year.

EUGENE, Ore. – Sophomore Stafon Roach represented the ULM outdoor track and field team well at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships on Friday, placing eighth overall with a 15.99m (52-5.5) distance. 
 
Roach was named First Team All-American for the triple jump, which is awarded to the top eight athletes in the finals for each event. It marks the second consecutive year a Warhawk has earned First Team All-American honors, following Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi in 2024.
 
Oklahoma's duo of Brandon Green Jr. and Floyd Whitaker secured first and second place with marks of 16.81m and 16.41m, respectively. Kyvon Tatham from Florida State rounded up the top three with a 16.23m distance.
