MONROE, La. – Seven ULM football players were named to the 2025 Phil Steele Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Team, the publication announced. Four Warhawks (
Elijah Fisher – OL,
Kevontay Wells – DL,
D'Arco Perkins-McAllister – DB, and
Max Larson – K) were chosen to the third team while three Warhawks (
Jay Mickle – OL,
Billy Pullen – DL, and
Seidrion Langston – LB) were placed on the fourth team.

A three-year starter on the offensive line, Fisher returns for his redshirt senior season in 2025 as one of the most reliable offensive linemen in the Sun Belt. The Allen, Texas, native repeated as All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention in 2024 and made 11 starts at left guard. Fisher has played in 41 games for the Warhawks since his first season with the team in 2020.

Wells, a senior defensive lineman from Jackson, Miss., had a breakout 2024 season that culminated with All-Sun Belt Second Team Defense honors after leading ULM with 11.0 tackles for loss. He added a trio of sacks and 50 total tackles, including a season-high 2.5 tackles for loss in a win versus Southern Miss and 2.0 tackles for loss in the team's victory at Troy.

Perkins-McAllister, a redshirt senior transfer from Chattanooga, arrives at ULM after snagging three interceptions and recording 35 tackles and four pass breakups during the 2024 campaign. He spent two seasons at TCU and played in 20 contests for the Horned Frogs from 2021-22 before redshirting at New Mexico in 2023.

In his first season as the Warhawks' placekicker, Larson converted 14-of-17 field goal attempts and 27-of-28 PATs. Larson split the uprights on a season-long 47-yard field goal in games against Southern Miss and the Ragin' Cajuns. He added 15 touchbacks on kickoffs and averaged 61.2 yards per kick.

Mickle has appeared in 23 games across two seasons for ULM and started in all 12 games last season at right guard. The former NJCAA Division I Second Team All-American was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team following the 2024 season.

An All-Sun Belt Third Team Defense honoree, Pullen was ULM's leader with six sacks recorded during his first season in Monroe. Pullen wreaked havoc in the Warhawks' dominating victory over UAB after making a pair of sacks along with a safety and a forced fumble versus the Blazers.

Langston, a Lanett, Ala., native, rounded out the honorees for ULM. In his sophomore season with the Warhawks, Langston totaled 21 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss. He made a season-high five tackles at Auburn on Nov. 16.
