MONROE, La. — ULM head men's basketball coach
Phil Cunningham announced another addition to his staff for the 2025-26 season on Thursday (Sept. 4). Reid Roberts joins the staff as the newest assistant coach for the Warhawks.
Roberts spent the 2024-25 season at ULM as a graduate assistant, helping in head coach Keith Richard's final season and working with current head coach
Phil Cunningham. He also spent the 2022-23 season under Coach Richard with the Warhawks. Prior to his time at ULM, Roberts spent the 2023-24 season with Arkansas men's basketball as a graduate assistant.
The Atlanta, Ga., native spent three seasons as the student manager for FIU men's basketball, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in recreation and sport management. Roberts also spent a year at Tampa, working in the sports information department for the Spartans.
"Reid is a talented young coach with a bright future in this profession," said head coach
Phil Cunningham. "He's had the fortune of working with three outstanding head coaches in the last few years, and I'm really excited about what he brings to our program. Reid has shown a unique ability in skill development with players, and I'm looking forward to seeing him grow even more as a coach in his new role on the staff."
