BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Tuva Sandberg led the way for ULM track and field in the UAB Green and Gold Invite on Friday, Feb 6, from the Birmingham Crossplex.

The freshman distance runner secured first place in the women's 3000m event, posting a personal-best 10:02.95 time, which bested the second-place result by over three seconds.

Also placing on the podium for the Warhawks were Joseph Morgan in the men's mile race with a 4:21.67 time and
Chase Gunn in the men's 3000m. Gunn earned a personal-best 8:33.78 time in the event and a third-place finish, while Morgan placed second in his event. The Warhawks finished the day with a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay with the team of
Thibault Buchard,
Imani Coleman,
Santana Richardson and
Mario Santin producing the podium mark.

Just missing out on the podium for the men was
Mario Santin in the 400m with a placement of fourth, while Taj Morris produced a top-five finish in the 60m hurdles final. For the women,
Cameron Mount and
Sydney Lake placed fourth in the pole vault and weight throw events while
Macy Lee Hale,
Rebekka Flotho and
Anna Naff earned fifth in the shot put, mile and 3000m competitions.
