ULM Completes Day One in College Station

Sydney Lake and Francisco Calhau both placed second in the hammer throw events.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – A pair of hammer throwers led the way for ULM track and field in day one of the Texas A&M 44 Farms Team Invitational on Friday.
 
Francisco Calhau continued his excellent campaign with a second-place finish in the men's hammer throw, marking a 65.78m result. Sydney Lake also joined in on the action in the women's event, throwing for 59.41m, resulting in a silver finish.
 
Also placing in the top five was Nathan Wade in the long jump with his mark of 7.51m.
 
The Warhawks are back in action for day two of the invitational in College Station, starting at 10 a.m.
