AUSTIN/SAN MARCOS, Texas – ULM track and field completed Thursday's action of the Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational for day one.

Francisco Calhau, who recently took Sun Belt Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors, led the men in Austin with a third-place finish in the hammer throw (65.67m).
Joseph Yount also collected a top-five finish in the javelin throw. For the women,
Mikayla Douglas,
Rebekka Flotho and
Anna Naff placed top five in the 400m hurdles, 5000m and 10000m events, respectively.

In San Marcos,
Nathan Wade and
Stafon Roach captured podium finishes in the long jump. Wade secured second place with a 7.76m distance, and Roach placed third with a mark of 7.52m.
Raquel Gomes also finished in the top five with a fourth-place standing in the discus throw.

The Warhawks are back tomorrow at both meets with day two of competition on Friday.
