ULM Women’s Golf Claims 2026 Sun Belt Championship

A deep putt from freshman Zoe McLean-Tattan clinched the victory for the Warhawks.

POINT CLEAR, Ala. – The ULM women's golf team has claimed its second Sun Belt Conference title in three years, defeating Old Dominion and Texas State in match play. Freshman Zoe McLean-Tattan drained the winning putt on the 18th hole for the victory.

Semifinals round: ULM 4.5, Old Dominion 0.5
The Warhawks cruised to claim a spot in the championship event, picking up 4.5 points on the way to victory. Emma Manzini secured the first point for ULM, finishing against Alina Shchepteva with a 5&4. Johanna Sjursen then defeated Mariana Arronte 3&2 for the next point, Daniela Campillo clinching the game-winning point with a 2&1. McLean-Tattan finished one-up against her opponent as Anna Andrysova tied through 18 holes against individual title winner Barbara Car.

Championship round: ULM 4, Texas State 1
Texas State also advancing to the championship round handily, the Warhawks made quick work of getting the advantage. Anna Andrysova completed play first against Briana LeMaire with a 2&1 result. Emma Manzini got ULM to being just one match away with the successful 3&2 outing. Fia Lindblom got the Bobcats on the board however, keeping it tight in a 4&3 victory over Daniela Campillo. With both final pairs tied late in the contest, it was up to either Johanna Sjursen or Zoe McLean-Tattan to find the edge for the victory. As Sjursen landed one-up on the 16th hole, McLean-Tattan sank the birdie putt on the 18th hole for the third point, leaving the Warhawks victorious.

In the two rounds of match play, Campillo led the team with eight birdies on her scorecard. Sjursen drained an eagle for her score as well.

This is the second Sun Belt title in program history for the women's golf team, the first coming in 2023. It is also the second conference title to come under head coach Rachel Pollock. Seniors Anna Andrysova and Johanna Sjursen record their second conference title, as they helped get the Warhawks to the first in their freshman season.

ULM will await their location of an NCAA Regional, having claimed the automatic bid. The NCAA Women's Golf Selection Show is scheduled for April 29 at 3 p.m. CT.
