MONROE, La. — Four ULM football players have been recognized in the preseason on the Preseason All-Sun Belt lists, the most in the
Bryant Vincent era and the most since 2020. Two offensive and two defense players were featured on the teams for the Warhawks.
AJ Vinson and
Noah Flemmings were recognized on the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team and
Nic Trujillo and
Jabari Tiller were named to the second team.
AJ Vinson receives his third bid to a preseason Sun Belt team, already recognized on the Phil Steele and Athlon Sports preseason first teams. Entering his second season with the Warhawks, the offensive lineman looks to anchor the line as a veteran. Vinson started all 12 games for ULM in 2025, helping the Warhawk offense collect 3,882 yards of offense, 1,957 rushing yards.
Noah Flemmings makes the return for his second season as well, after earning recognition on the Phil Steele and Athlon Sports Preseason Sun Belt First Team and on the All-Sun Belt Third Team last season. Flemmings led the team with 80 tackles in 2025, also collected 11.0 tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries. He led the team's defense in five games, including a 13-tackle showing at Texas State.
Nic Trujillo enters his second season with the Warhawks, responsible for four touchdowns and 368 yards in 2025 after returning midway through the season from injury. Trujillo connected with quarterback
Aidan Armenta multiple times, including his first ULM reception for a score in the end zone. He broke 100 yards at the Ragin' Cajuns at the end of the season with 133 yards and two touchdown receptions.
Jabari Tiller rounds out the recognition on the preseason second team defense after collecting 45 tackles in his first season in Monroe. Tiller saw time in 11 games, also logging two sacks and a forced fumble. After recording six tackles at Alabama, Tiller went on to post a season-high 10 tackles against South Alabama to lead the team.
Vinson and Flemmings will represent the Warhawks with head coach
Bryant Vincent at Sun Belt Media Day on July 16 in New Orleans. Vincent will make his main stage appearance at 2:30 p.m.
The Warhawks will then open their season at Mississippi State on September 5, playing in Starkville at 6:30 p.m. The home opener will come on September 19 at 3:30 p.m. against local opponent Southeastern.
