CLINTON, Miss. — The ULM cross country team is back in action this fall, as both men's and women's teams are competing in the Mississippi Christian College Opener on September 4. The men will compete at 6 p.m. in the 5k, while the women will follow at 6:40 p.m.

The women's cross country team welcomes all returners to the roster, able to record a 100% retention. The men's team return 11 runners, with three newcomers in first-years Cohen Aucoin, Johnathan Boles and Joseph Knight. Also returning for the team is Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year Kgaogelo Moloisi, who qualified for the NCAA Championships last season.

The men's team was recognized by the USTFCCCA, ranked 13th in the preseason poll in the south central region entering the 2026 season.

Following the competition in the Mississippi Christian College Opener, the Warhawks will follow up on September 18, competing in the Southern Showcase, hosted by Jacksonville State.
