(Junior): Named to the All-Louisiana Second Team, Louisville Slugger/NFCA
Division I All-South Region Team and All-Sun Belt Conference First Team…started
all 50 games in centerfield and as the leadoff hitter…extended consecutive
games started streak to 129 games…led the Sun Belt Conference in three
offensive categories: slugging percentage (.723), on base percentage (.533) and
walks (41)…set ULM single-season records for batting average (.394), on base
percentage and walks…led the Warhawks in 11 statistical categories…smashed a
career best eleven home runs, scored 41 runs, posted 54 hits and stole 15
bases…recorded 13 multi-hit games and five multi-rbi games…led the team with
the longest hitting streak (11 games)…had a 97 percent fielding percentage with
60 putouts…two double home run games (Jackson State and Western Kentucky)…a
season-high four RBIs versus Western Kentucky, along with three hits…had a
season-high three runs scored against Jackson State and three double stolen
base games…walked a season-high four times versus Western Kentucky
2008-2009 (Sophomore): Named
all-Sun Belt, all-Louisiana, and Louisville Slugger/NFCA first team all-region
as an outfielder ...continued to thrive as a center fielder appearing in and
starting all 52 games last season...led the team with a .378 batting average in
143 at-bats...belted eight home runs to move into a tie for sixth place on the
all-time ULM home runs list...finished with team-highs in runs scored (33), hits
(54), doubles (9), triples (6), RBI (26), walks (26), as well as tying for the
team lead in stolen bases (15)...her .378 batting average was tied for the
sixth-best single season average in program history...in Love's career she is now
batting .334, which ranks fifth all-time in ULM softball history...finished with
11 assists, a team-best for an outfielder...also led the team in slugging
percentage (.692), on base percentage (.477), total bases (99)...she also
finished in a tie for sacrifice flies with one...concluded the season with 17
multi-hit games, including a career-high four base knocks and four RBI on the
road versus Florida Atlantic, to go along with two runs scored...Love scored on
multiple occasions in nine contests, including a career-best three runs against
Baylor
2007-2008 (Freshman): Named
honorable mention all-Louisiana as an outfielder...emerged as one of the top
outfielders in the conference after winning the offensive triple crown at ULM
in her first collegiate season...tied Casey Goodman for the most home runs in
school history by a freshman after belting her team-leading 10th...her 10 home
runs were the sixth-most in a single season at ULM and move her to seventh on
the career list after only her first campaign...also finished with team highs
in RBI (28), batting average (.296), runs scored (30) and total hits (48)...tied
for the team lead in doubles (7) and in triples (2) while posting the team's
highest slugging percentage (.549)...appeared in 58 of the Warhawks 59 games
and picked up the start in 55 of them...after appearing in both right field and
centerfield, settled in left and posted a team-best eight outfield
assists...finished second on the team in walks (13) and first on the team in
intentional walks (2)...terrorized conference pitching on the season after
hitting .343 with four homers and 10 RBI...was moved to the lead-off spot of
the batting order half way through the season and hit .300 while reaching base
47.1 percent of the time...had 11 games with multiple hits, including five with
three, and tied for the team lead in multiple-RBI games with four...eight of
her 10 home runs were of the solo variety...finished with a team-high six
steals on eight attempts...was named to the Tennessee Classic All-Tournament
Team after helping the Warhawks to a second place finish
Prep: Highly decorated player who
brings multiple club and high school championships to ULM...four-year
letterwinner on the diamond for Garland HS...led GHS to 2006 Texas 5A State
Championship and a No. 3 NFCA ranking...helped Garland HS win the state
championship her senior season to become the first 5A school in Texas to win
back-to-back state championships...as a senior set the single season walks
record with 26 and finished second all-time in GHS history with 50 RBI in being
named to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State team...also advanced to
state finals in 2005 and finished year ranked fifth nationally...in her last
season with the Texas Glory, posted a .418 batting average with 37 RBI...also
set GHS school record for triples in a single season, posting eight to go along
with four home runs and 36 RBI in 2005...played third base in high school and
lettered one season in volleyball
