2012 (RS-Junior)
Appeared in 59 total games and made 57 starts, primarily as the team's designated hitter... Finished season with a .261 average including 13 doubles... Posted a .304 batting average in league games... Was 2-for-3 with one RBI and two walks in series finale at Texas-San Antonio... Recorded five hits, four RBI and two runs in series against Nicholls State... Totaled two hits, two runs and one RBI in series tying win at Tennessee... Was 2-for-4 with two runs in series finale against UL-Lafayette... Finished 3-for-4 with one RBI at Arkansas State... Started an 11-game hit streak with a 2-for-4 effort at Middle Tennessee... Saw a dream season end after suffering an injury running to first base in the 14th game of the season (Southern Utah)... Finished his abbreviated season with a .491 batting average (28-of-57) with eight doubles, one triple, one home run and 18 RBI... Hit for the cycle at Northwestern State; went 5-for-5 in the game with seven RBI... Was named the Pro-Line National Hitter of the Week, Sun Belt Conference Hitter of the Week and Louisiana Hitter of the Week the following week and was honored by the College Baseball Hall of Fame... Hit safely in the first 12 games of the season and in 13 of 14 total games; lone game without a hit he was 0-for-2 after being hit by a pitch twice... Was ranked fourth in the NCAA with his .491 batting average at the time of his injury... At the time of his injury, led the SBC in batting average, hits, slugging percentage, RBI, doubles and total bases... Doubled in six of the final 11 games he appeared... Shelton State Community College
