Appeared in all 13 games and made one start... Finished season with nine tackles including 2.5 for a loss and 1.5 sacks... Finished with four tackles (two solo) and one pass breakup against UL-Lafayette... Registered five stops (four solo), 2.5 TFLs and 1.5 sacks in the regular season finale at FIU.
2011 (Sophomore)
Appeared in all 12 games and totaled four tackles, including two tackles for loss… Credited with a solo tackle in the season-opener at Florida State... Picked up first career sack (half) in home-opener against Grambling State... Had one tackle for loss against Middle Tennessee.
2010 (RS-Freshman)
Started the final four games of the season at nose tackle and appeared in nine total contests... Finished the year with eight tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries... Had a pair of tackles against Troy, FIU and LSU... Had one stop against Arkansas State and North Texas... Had a half tackle for loss at LSU and one against Troy... Quarterback hurries came against Troy and North Texas.
2009 (Freshman)
Redshirted... Played tight end as a true freshman before moving to defensive end in the spring.
Prep
Was named to the all-metro first team following his senior season in which he had 30 catches for 537 yards and seven touchdowns... Helped the Patriots post a five-win improvement from his junior season as they went 7-4... Averaged three pancake blocks per game... Also played basketball for the Patriots.
