2021 (SENIOR-2): First Team All-Sun Belt Conference and NFCA Third Team All-South Region selection after starting all 49 games, leading the team with a .338 batting average with nine doubles, one triple, 18 walks, seven stolen bases and led the team in home runs (5), RBIs (24) and runs scored (32)…Had 12 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games…Opened the Sun Belt Conference Championship with two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored vs. Coastal Carolina (5/10/21)…Homered and hit a double with an RBI and a run scored at Ragin’ Cajuns (5/6/21)…Posted four hits across a doubleheader with Georgia State, collecting a pair of hits in each game (5/1/21)…Picked up two hits with a run scored in the second game of a doubleheader at South Alabama (4/25/21)…Hit a solo home run, her fourth of the season to go with two hits and an RBI vs. Troy (4/17/21)…Collected two hits and scored three times in the first game of a doubleheader at Jackson State (4/15/21)…Had two hits, including a double, with two RBIs in the series finale vs. UT Arlington (4/3/21)…Pounded out a season-high four hits, including her third home run of the season, with three RBIs and three runs scored in the second game of a doubleheader at Georgia Southern (3/20/21)…Tallied two hits with a double, RBI and run scored in the first game of a doubleheader at Georgia Southern (3/20/21)…Connected for a home run with two RBIs, two runs scored and two walks in the second game of a doubleheader vs. Coastal Carolina (3/13/21)…Had a hit and two RBIs in each game of a doubleheader vs. Grambling State, including the only triple of the season in game two (3/10/21)…Closed the Oklahoma tournament with two hits, including a double, with an RBI and a run scored vs. Sam Houston State (3/7/21)…Added two hits, picking up her first home run of the season, with two RBIs and two runs scored vs. Northern Iowa (2/28/21)…Hit safely in nine of the first 10 games of the season.

2020 (SENIOR): Ended the season with the fourth-highest batting average (.333) and was one of six Warhawks to appear in all 24 contests … responsible for third-most hits on the team (24) … tied teammate Ana Hogan for most doubles (eight) and teammate Korie Kreps for most triples (two) … one of four ULM sluggers with two home runs on the slate … posted the highest slugging percentage (.583) and on-base percentage (.422) on the unit … began the season with a 2-for-4 outing that included a double … was 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored against Southern (Feb. 7), notching her first double along the way … came through with a base hit against Southern (Feb. 8), stretching her hitting streak to three games … scored two runs in a clash with South Dakota State (Feb. 14) … capped off a game with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 14) by going 1-for-4 from the plate with an RBI and a run scored … picked up her second double of the slate against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 15) … broke a three-game hitless streak by going 1-for-3 from the plate with a double against Houston Baptist (Feb. 21) … followed that with a 1-for-3 outing that included two RBI and a run scored against Nicholls State (Feb. 23) … had her second multi-hit game of the season (2-for-3) against Louisiana Tech, closing with four runs and a double … belted a home run against Belmont (Feb. 28) as she went 3-for-3 from the plate with an RBI, one run scored and a double ... accounted for two RBI after going 1-for-5 from the plate, while notching her seventh double of the season against Central Arkansas (Feb. 29) … wrapped up the series against Georgia Southern (March 6-8) with six hits in 11 at bats … began the series with a 1-for-4 outing that resulted in a triple and an RBI … tied her single-game season-high in hits (three) on March 7, finishing 3-for-4 with a double and a home run … recorded her final two hits of the season against the Eagles on March 8 as she went 2-for-3 from the plate with an RBI.

2019 (JUNIOR): Started 54 games for ULM…Hit .302 with 49 hits, 11 doubles, seven home runs, 36 RBIs, 30 runs scored, three steals on six attempts and a slugging percentage of .500…10 multi-hit games, 10 multi-RBI games and nine multi-run games…Led Sun Belt in assists (144), tied for 7^th in Sun Belt for doubles (11) and ranked 10^th in Sun Belt in hit by pitch (8)…Went 4-for-4 at the plate in the series opener at Coastal Carolina (3/29/19) with two runs scored, one double, two RBIs…Posted a conference high for the season with six at bat attempts against Georgia Southern (4/5/19) and had three hits with three runs, and two RBIs…Went 4-for-5 at the plate in the series opener at UT Arlington (4/12/19) with three runs, one double, one home run, and two RBIs.

2018 (SOPHOMORE): Second-Team All-Sun Belt Shortstop.... NFCA Second-Team All-Region Selection... Finished with 25 hit-by-pitch calls, putting her 11 away from the ULM career record (38), ranked second in Division I in the category... Was hit three times against Jackson State (3/28) tying the Division I single game season record... Finished first in the Sun Belt in on-base-percentage (.561), a ULM single-season record, and ranked ninth in Division I in the same category... Contributed a .379 batting average to the lineup... Ranked 8th in the Sun Belt in slugging percentage (.545) with 55 hits, 43 runs scored, and four homeruns... Finished second in the Sun Belt in assists (133)... Had 16 multi-hit games.

2017 (FRESHMAN): Started in all 57 games played, tallying 172 at bats... Ranked 11th in the Sun Belt in batting average (.355) and fourth in on base percentage (.464)...10th hardest to strike out in the conference with only seven over the entire season... Racked up 71 total bases with nine doubles and seven homeruns... Earned 31 RBI and 31 scored runs... Set season highs in game one of her collegiate career (vs. Sam Houston State on 2/10), five total bases and four RBI... Had 15 multi-hit games. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Sabine High School in Gladewater, Texas. Along with softball, Mount played four years of basketball and ran track as well as three years of volleyball. As a freshman was awarded Newcomer of the District and East Texas, Texas Sports Writers Association First-Team All-State, Team MVP. As a sophomore was awarded TGCA First Team All-State, First Team All-East Texas Shortstop, Pitcher of the District and Team MVP. As a junior was awarded TGCA First Team All-State, First Team All-East Texas Shortstop, District Offensive Player of the Year and Team MVP. As a senior was awarded Pitcher of the District, First Team Best Preps Short Stop, TSWA Second Team All-State Shortstop. The highlight of Mount's high school career was hitting a home run in the bottom of the seventh that hit the flag pole in center field (walk-off home run). 

PERSONAL: Full name is Jayden McKay Mount...Birthday is March 23...Parents are Jay and Kristi Mount...Is an only child...Majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in math...Father played football at Northwestern State from 1984-1989...Has a rich family history at ULM as her mother, aunt and two uncle's graduated from ULM...Likes sports, reading her Bible and hanging out with friends.
