Tossed a season-high five innings in relief against Central Arkansas -- allowed just a pair of runs on five hits... Finished the season without a decision and a 6.75 ERA... Struck out six in 12.0 innings of work.

Lettered in both baseball and football at Sterlington High School... Named District MVP, Northeast Louisiana Pitcher of the Year and all-state after posting a 12-2 record with a 0.90 ERA as a senior... As a junior, posted a 6-3 record with a 1.92 ERA as the Panthers advanced to the Louisiana 2A State Championship Game... Three-time all-district selection in baseball...
