Spent final two prep seasons at Ouachita High School and played for coach Josh Morrison... Was a three-time All-District selection in baseball (2013, 2014, 2015)... Also earned All-Northeast Louisiana honors in 2015 after batting .350 with two homers, 29 RBI and a .600 on-base percentage at the dish... Posted a 1.06 ERA as a senior in 32 innings of work with 70 strikeouts... Was also a two-time Academic All-District honoree (2012, 2013)... Began high school career at Rayville High School where he was a three-sport athlete in basketball, baseball and football.

Full name is Ethan Clay Daily... Born May 29, 1997 in West Monroe, La... Son of Ronald and Ashley Daily... Father was a member of the ULM track and field team from 1981-85... Grandfather, Derek, was a member of the ULM track and field team from 1959-60... Uncle, William Ryan, was part of the gymnastics squad at Mount Claire State from 1966-69... Enjoys hanging out with friends and listening to music.
