Started the first 21 games of the season before being sidelined with an injury in finale at Appalachian State... Finished season with 16 total hits (six doubles), 10 RBI and seven runs scored... Collected one hit and one run in season opener against Indiana State... Had one hit and one RBI against Central Arkansas... Was perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI against Grambling State... Lettered for three seasons at Jesuit High School under coach Joey Latino... Batted .361 with four home runs and 33 RBI for the 2011 Louisiana Class 5A State Champion Blue Jays... Was all-metro, all-district and Class 5A All-State honorable mention selection as a senior... Hit at a .418 clip with six home runs, 42 RBI and 16 stolen bases during the 2011 American Legion season.
