Started nine games -- missing three due to injury (Troy, at Arkansas State, at Kentucky)... Finished season with 32 total tackles (24 solo, 8 asst), three tackles for loss, one sack and one interception... Made three total stops (two solo) in win over Wake Forest... Finished with five total tackles (four solo) in conference opener against Idaho... Set new-career marks in tackles for loss (2.0) and sacks (1.0) against the Vandals... Had three tackles (two solo) at LSU... Returned from injury and made four total stops (three solo) against Texas State... Had three tackles in upset bid at Texas A&M... Made four solo tackles, including one for loss, at Appalachian State... Intercepted Mountaineer QB Taylor Lamb and returned it 17 yards to set up a ULM touchdown early in the second quarter... Tallied five tackles (four solo) in home finale against UL-Lafayette... Made four solo stops in win at New Mexico State.
2013 (RS-Freshman)
Appeared in all 12 games ande made three starts... Finished season with 24 tackles (12 solo, 12 asst), three tackles for loss and one interception... Assisted on three tackles in collegiate debut at Oklahoma... Made five total stops, including one for a loss, in win over Grambling State... Had three solo tackles (one for a loss) in win at Wake Forest... Posted three solo stops at Baylor... Finished contest against Tulane with eight total tackles, including one for a loss...Intercepted UL-Lafayette quarterback Terrance Broadway at the goal line and returned it 35 yards in the final seconds of the first half... Interception ended a Ragin’ Cajun drive and kept ULM within one score at the half... The Warhawks went on to win the game, 31-28.
2012 (Freshman)
Redshirted... Was coaches’ scout team player of the week on defense for the Arkansas State game week.
Prep
Played just one season of high school football, recording 52 tackles, seven pass breakups and one interception at corner back as a senior... Earned the Tiger Heart Award as one of the best all-around students... Coached by Jeff Hulme.
