2019 (Junior): Made six appearances with no record, posting a 12.46 ERA over 4.1 innings, giving up six runs on seven hits with one walk and four strikeouts…Threw a season-high 1.2 innings, giving up no runs on one hit with two strikeouts at Southeastern Louisiana, 3/5/19…Pitched a scoreless inning, allowing just one hit at Mississippi State, 4/3/19.

Meridian CC: Made 23 appearances on the mound for the Eagles in 2018, posting a 6-2 record with one save and a 4.50 ERA over 44.0 innings while striking out 53 and walking 24… As a freshman in 2017, made 19 appearances with a 4-1 record and one save, posting a 3.14 ERA over 48.2 innings with 51 strikeouts and 25 walks.

Columbia HS: Three-time All-District selection for the Wildcats… Won the Leadership Award as a senior, Cy Young Award as a sophomore, and Rookie of the Year as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Reuben and Traci McDowell… Grandfather played football at Southern Mississippi… Enjoys traveling and hunting… Plans to major in History and minor in Education at ULM.
