Biography

2007-08: Made her mark in the ULM record book after becoming the 14th player in program history to top the 1,000-point plateau for her career...Finished her career ranked 13th in points with 1,112...Also holds the top spot at ULM for career games played at 118...Also ranks fifth on the career list in assists (379), third in made three-point shots (169) and eighth in three-point percentage (.346)...Her .767 free throw conversion clip ranks seventh all time at ULM...Led the team in assists with 131...Ranked second on the team in scoring average at 9.6 points per game...Her 4.2 rebounds per game ranked third on the Warhawks...Added five blocks and 37 steals...Finished the season as one of two players in the Sun Belt Conference with more than 200 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists on the season...A Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Third Team selection...Named to the All-Tournament Team at the Taco Bell Classic...Finished third in the conference overall in total assists and ranked 30th in points per game average...Also ranked 12th in the Sun Belt in made treys with 46...Against league opponents, led the team in scoring after averaging 11.1 points per game...Led the team in minutes per game (31.3).

2006-07: Finished the season ranked 15th in the Sun Belt averagin 12.7 points per game...played and started in 29-of-30 games missing the first game of her ULM career on Saturday, Feb. 24, to attend her grandmother’s funeral in Texas - 87 consecutive games, 57 consecutive starts...Led the team in scoring and was third on the team in rebounding with 5.2 per tilt...Scored in double-figures on 20 different occasions and scored 20+ points five times (at UAB, NW State, Louisiana Tech, at FAU and at South Alabama)... Netted a season-high 22 points at Florida Atlantic on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor and 10-of-12 from the free throw line...20 games with 5+ rebounds, including a career-best nine boards against New Orleans...Hit 6-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-4 from three-point range at Western Kentucky...Averaged a team-high 30.6 minutes per game; 4.9 more minutes per game than any other player...Also led the team in assists (3.3) and steals (1.3) per contest

2005-06: Played and started in all 29 contests as a sophomore...Led the Warhawks in scoring, averaging 12 points per game...Also averaged 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game...Scored a career-high 24 points going 7-11 from the field (4-8 3 point range) and 6-7 from the line in ULM’s season opening win against Memphis (11/18/05). Also had five steals, three assists, and five rebounds against the Tigers...Scored over 20 points three times, vs. Memphis, vs. Denver (22), and at Texas Arlington (21)...Tallied nine assists against North Texas (11/30/05)...Notched her first career double-double at Nicholls State (1/12/06), scoring 16 points and adding 11 rebounds...Averaged 32.3 minutes per game for ULM...Named to the All-Southland Conference Second Team...Named to the SMU Hoops for the Cure Classic all-tournament team...Has recorded three 20-point games this season – 24 vs. Memphis on Nov. 18; 22 vs. Denver on Nov. 26; and 21 at UTA on Jan. 9.

2004-05: Appeared in all 30 games and started in the Southern Mississippi game (12/07/04)...Led her team from the free throw line while shooting 100% all year, finishing 22-22...Played the best game of the season against Grambling (12/19/04) when she scored her career-high 13 points on 3-3 three-point shooting and 4-4 from the free throw line. She also had 3 assists and 1 rebound...Scored 12 points in the Southeastern Louisiana game (2/10/05) and also shot 4-4 from the free throw line, 3-7 from the field, and 2-4 from 3-point range. Also added 2 assists and 4 rebounds...Was one of the top reserves off the bench as a freshman...Earned a start against Southern Miss on Dec. 7.

Prep: Another highly-regarded Warhawk recruit, she was a high school teammate of April O’Neal’s and a star in her own right, helping Duncanville rank as one of Texas’ top teams for all of her four years. She made all-district as a senior when she averaged 13 points, seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and one block. During her career under Coach Cathy Self-Morgan, Duncanville claimed four district titles, one area championship, one state championship and one state runnerup finish. A excellent student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Born April 3, 1986, she is the daughter of Donna Howard. She has two sisters. The person she most admires is her mother. She says she came to ULM because of the pharmacy program and “a good coaching staff.” She is an exercise science major...Would like to meet Oprah Winfrey someday.
