Played in 36 games with 30 starts, slashing .203/.320/.281 with 13 hits, two doubles, one home run, eight RBIs, 12 runs scored, seven walks and four stolen bases … Had two multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game … Hit a 3-run home run with a walk at Georgia State (5/1/22) … Had two hits with an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base at Coastal Carolina (4/14/22) … Hit a double with an RBI vs. Bradley (2/26/22) … Had two hits with a walk and two stolen bases vs. Jacksonville State-2 (2/19/22) … Had back-to-back games with an RBI against Houston Baptist and Jacksonville State-1 (2/18-2/19/22).

2021 (FRESHMAN-2)
Played in 41 games and started 35 ... finished her sophomore year with 16 hits, 21 runs, eight RBIs, one home run and a .309 on base percentage ... She had two hits including a triple, one RBI and one run scored vs. Jacksonville State (2/12/21) ... Followed that with a three-game hit steak and also scored in all three vs. Louisiana Tech (2/24/21), at Southern (2/24/21) and vs. Northern Iowa (2/27/21) ... Reached base twice with a hit and RBI at Samford (2/27/21) ... Tied her season high hits (two), RBIs (three) and hit a home run vs. Grambling State (3/10/21) ... Scored twice in the conference opener vs. Coastal Carolina (3/13/21) ... Went 1-for-3 with a run vs UT Arlington (4/12/21) ... Recorded two hits, an RBI, run and stolen base at Louisiana Tech (4/13/21) ... She went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs vs. Troy (4/18/21)

2020 (FRESHMAN)
One of six Warhawks to start all 24 games during the season … ended her freshman season with 15 hits, two doubles, one triple and five RBI … closed out the campaign with a .324 on-base percentage and a .317 slugging percentage … finished third on the team in stolen bases (six) … made her collegiate debut against Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 7), finishing 1-for-3 from the plate … put together her first three-game hitting streak of the season against South Dakota State (Feb. 14); Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 14) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 15), closing with one hit in each of those contests … had the first RBI of her career after going 1-for-4 from the plate against South Dakota State (Feb. 14) … capped off her second game against South Dakota State (Feb. 16) with the first multi-hit game (2-for-3) and first extra-base hit of her career (triple) while scoring one run …  began her second three-game hitting streak of the season with a 1-for-2 outing against Abilene Christian (Feb. 22), connecting on a double … followed with a pair of two-hit games against Incarnate Word (Feb. 22) and Nicholls State (Feb. 23), both resulting in RBI … came through with her fourth multi-hit game of the season (3-for-4) at Georgia Southern (March 5), enjoying her second double of the campaign … ended the season with a base hit and a run scored against McNeese State (March 11). 

PREP
A member of National Honor Society, BETA club, Future Business Leaders of America and Brothers and Sisters in Christ…Earned a certificate of general studies from Bossier Parish CC in 2019 and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society…On the field, Giddens was a three-sport athlete (softball, basketball and track and field)…Had a batting average over .430 all four years, including a batting average of .529 her sophomore year and a batting average of .567 her junior year, and ended her career with a winning record each season…Compiled 90 RBIs and 77 stolen bases during her career…Named first team All-District all four years, District MVP her junior year, first team All-Area and LHSAA All-Star team during her senior year…Two-time state champion in 4x200 meter relay, three-time state champion in javelin and holds the Louisiana Class B record in javelin with a throw of 137.5 feet…Selected to the track and field composite All-State team during junior and senior years.

Born July 16, 2001 to Clint and Sonia Giddens in Shreveport, La….Has an older sister, Katelynn (23), who graduated from ULM…Twin sister, Kassidy, also plays ULM Softball…Enjoys playing with her dog and spending time with friends and family…plans to major in health studies pre-professional.
