HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterwinner in baseball at West Monroe High School in West Monroe, Louisiana, graduating in 2021…Helped the Rebels win district championships in all four years and advance to the Class 5A State Championship Game as a senior in 2021 and the Class 5A state semifinals as a sophomore in 2019…As a senior in 2021, posted a 10-4 record with a 1.80 ERA over 81 innings, making 15 starts and firing eight complete games with 74 strikeouts and a .204 opponent batting average…Was named a Perfect Game Preseason All-American, First-Team All-State, First-Team All-Parish, First-Team All-NELA, First-Team All-District, was named Academic All-State and earned the Louisiana All-Star Award…As a junior in 2020, helped West Monroe to a 9-4 start to the season while making three starts with a 1-1 record, 2.10 ERA with 13 strikeouts to two walks before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic…As a sophomore in 2019, was 8-3 with a 2.00 ERA over 64 innings while making 14 starts, earning First-Team All-District, First-Team All-Parish, First-Team All-NELA and All-State from the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association…Also lettered three years in football for the Rebels, playing as the starting quarterback as a junior and senior, helping WMHS to a state runner-up finish as a sophomore and a state semifinal appearance as a senior, earning All-District honors as a senior…Also named Academic All-State and won the National Football Foundation Scholarship Award, presented by ULM alumnus and national sports broadcaster Tim Brando, as a senior…Was a Senior of Distinction and a member of National Honor Society.
