2008 (Junior): Named to the Louisville Slugger All-America third team, Ping!Baseball All-America second team, All-Sun Belt first team and All-Louisiana first team...dominated opposing pitchers batting .394 with 21 doubles, 16 home runs, two triples and a school-record 83 runs scored...finished as the NCAA leader averaging 1.29 runs per game...also set the ULM single-season record with 93 hits -- six more than the previous mark in five fewer games -- and with 166 total bases -- 22 more than the previous record...home run total was tied for the second best in a single-season, doubles total was the sixth best and his batting average was the sixth best...in the NCAA statistical rankings finished the season ranked seventh in runs scored, 43rd in hits, 38th in slugging percentage, 27th in total bases and 41st in on-base percentage...went back-to-back games without a hit just once all season...ended the season among the ULM career leaders in several categories -- batting average (7th), at-bats (7th), runs scored (5th), hits (6th), doubles (5th), home runs (5th), total bases (6th) and stolen bases (9th)...was even better during Sun Belt play hitting at a .415 clip with 10 of his home runs...scored 46 runs in 30 conference games...named Sun Belt Hitter of the Week on March 31 after hitting .500 (8-for-16) with eight RBIs and three home runs for the week lifting ULM to a sweep over then Sun Belt leader Florida Atlantic...hit safely in 47-of-57 games played and scored a run in 48-of-57 games played...reached base safely in 54-of-57 games played...scored a run in 13 of the final 14 games of the season...turned 56 double plays on the season leading the Warhawks to a school record double plays turned on the season...finished the season 13-of-14 on stolen base attempts...led the team with 30 multi-hit games and was fourth with 13 multi-RBI games...hit safely in 14 of the final 15 games of the season...also made 14 appearances on the mound posting a 2-1 record with a 4.55 ERA and three saves...tossed the final 2 2/3 innings in game two against Florida Atlantic allowing just three hits and no runs for his first victory of the season -- went 2-for-5 from the plate that game...went 4 2/3 innings allowing just one earned run in the series finale against MTSU for his second win --- went 3-for-3 from the plate with a pair of RBIs and scored three times...was 2-0 with two saves in SBC games
2007 (Sophomore): Followed up his stellar freshman season hitting .275 with 10 doubles, five home runs and 33 RBIs despite playing in just 44 games due to injury...had 12 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5, five-RBI performance at Arkansas State...hit two home runs and a double in the series finale against ASU...followed that performance with a 2-for-3 outing and a home run against Louisiana Tech...eight games with multiple RBIs, opened the season with back-to-back games with two RBIs (Louisiana College & Missouri)...went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a homer in the series finale against South Alabama...nine of his 12 multi-hit games came against Sun Belt competition...hit .302 in league play...pieced together a six-game hit streak (3/21-3/31)...fourth on the team with nine stolen bases...made nine appearances on the mound with six starts...struck out a season-high six against Northwestern State...three of his six starts came against Sun Belt teams
2006 (RS-Freshman): Played in and started 53 games for the Warhawks primarily at shortstop on his way to being named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team...collected a team-high 71 hits including 10 doubles, one triple and five home runs on his way to a .348 batting average, second highest on the team...led the team in runs scored (44), total bases (98) and stolen bases (18)...knocked in 30 runs...finished the year with 21 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games...named to All-Louisiana first team, the Southland Conference first team and was named league Freshman of the Year...posted a 1-5 record on the mound with a 4.50 ERA...pitched in 14 contests for ULM, picking up the start in seven...had one complete game and one save...struck out 49 batters (second highest total on the team) while walking only 17
2005 (Freshman): Redshirted at the University of Alabama
Prep: Lettered in both football and baseball at West Monroe High School...as a senior, posted a .428 batting average, with 13 home runs, 14 doubles and 56 runs batted in...also posted a 10-2 mark on the mound with a 1.18 ERA, while recording 80 strikeouts...was a two-time all-state selection and three-time all-district honoree...named Mr. Baseball in Louisiana as a senior...was MVP of the Class 5A State Championship and was named a TPX All-American as a senior
