2019: Made five appearances before suffering a season-ending injury, going 1-0 with two saves and a 2.25 ERA over 8.0 innings, giving up three runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts…Counted on as the team’s closer prior to suffering his injury…Did not allow an earned run over his first four appearances…Tossed 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up just one walk with one strikeout vs. Air Force, 2/16/19…Picked up his first save after throwing a scoreless inning with a walk vs. SIUE, 2/25/19...Earned his only win of the season, coming out of the bullpen to pitch 1.1 scoreless innings with a walk and a strikeout vs. Western Kentucky, 3/2/19…Gave up an unearned run on a hit and a strikeout over 1.1 innings at Southeastern Louisiana, 3/6/19…Pitched the final three innings, spanning two days due to a fog delay, picking up his second save of the season while giving up two runs on five hits with a strikeout vs. McNeese State, 3/9/19.

Panola College: Pitched 24.1 innings for the Ponies in 2018, amassing an 8.14 ERA with 35 strikeouts and 24 walks.

Howard College: Did not play in 2017 season at Howard.

Palmer HS: As a senior in 2016, threw 60 innings for the Bulldogs, compiling a 5-2 record and 1.17 ERA while picking up 102 strikeouts and 30 walks… As a junior in 2015, threw 46.2 innings with a 1.95 ERA, striking out 70 and walking 43… As a sophomore in 2014, tossed 53.1 innings with a 6-2 record and a 0.66 ERA, striking out 102 and walking 30… Earned three varsity letters… Listed on the A/B Honor Roll all four years.

Personal: Son of Raymond and Lisa Figueroa… Enjoys fishing and hunting… Plans to major in Kinesiology and Sports Management at ULM.
