2018: Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.

Mississippi State: Made 23 relief appearances as a junior in 2017, throwing 37.0 innings… Tossed 4.2 shutout innings in his MSU debut on Opening Day… Threw an inning of perfect relief on March 7 against Louisiana Tech… Pitched 2.2 perfect innings, with two strikeouts, of relief at Arkansas on March 18… Struck out a batter in an inning of perfect relief March 21 against Southern Miss at Trustmark Park… Earned first career win after tossing four strikeouts in 1.2 innings of shutout relief on March 24 against Tennessee… Threw 1.1 innings of shutout relief March 26 against Tennessee… Picked up second win of the season at Ole Miss on March 31 after pitching 3.2 innings of relief… Allowed just one hit over 2.1 innings of shutout relief at South Carolina on April 15.

LSU-Eunice: Pitched two seasons with LSU-Eunice in Division II of the NJCAA… Was a member of the 2015-16 NJCAA National Team… Allowed only one earned run in 22.1 innings, while striking out 31 batters in 18 appearances… Pitched in 11 games with one start as a freshman for the Bengals during their national championship season, striking out 18 batters in 12.1 innings pitched.

Caldwell Parish HS: All-District 3-3A First-Team honors all four seasons… Four-year starter at quarterback on the football team and also ran track for the Spartans.

Personal: Son of Bo Barton and Kim Eason… Brother, Justin, also plays baseball at ULM... Enjoys fishing, hunting and playing video games… Plans to major in Sports Management at ULM.
