Saw action in 42 games and made 35 starts... Finished season with a .274 average with 11 extra base hits, 17 runs and 17 RBI... Was also perfect in the field in 97 chances... Made Warhawk debut against Southern Miss and finished 1-for-1 (double) and two walks... Was 3-for-4 with one RBI against Western Illinois... Had one hit and one RBI in win over Michigan State... Tallied one hit and one run in middle game of UL-Lafayette series... First homer as a Warhawk came in series finale against UALR... Solo homer against UALR kickstarted an eight-game hitting streak... Totaled 11 hits, 10 RBI and four runs during an eight-game hitting streak to end the season.
Bossier Parish Community College
Spent two seasons at Bossier Parish CC under head coach Aaron Voracheck... Was named first team All-Conference after batting .344 with 40 RBI and 31 runs as a sophomore... Finished 2013 season with 19 doubles, 11 triples, four homers and four stolen bases... Also earned Academic All-America honors after sophomore campaign... Tallied 39 total hits (14 doubles) as a rookie with 21 RBI and 13 runs.
Prep
Was a four-year letterwinner at Benton High School... Was named first team All-District as well as All-Academic all four seasons... Batted .417 in final season.

Has an older brother, Reed, and a younger sister, Kylie...Cousin, Brian Pettway, played collegiate baseball at Ole Miss and spent four seasons (2005-08) in the Toronto Blue Jays system and reached the AA level... Majoring in kinesology.
