Brandon Fresina joined the University of Louisiana Monroe Sports Medicine Department in the summer of 2021 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the primary coverage assignment of the Warhawk Baseball team. He was elevated to the Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine in July of 2023 in which he oversees the health and well being of all Warhawk student athletes.
 
Fresina arrived at ULM from Florida Atlantic University where he served as a Sports Medicine Fellow for the Owls from 2019-2021. During his time at FAU, Fresina's main responsibility was overseeing the baseball team and spirit squads. He also assisted with the football team during the 2020 season.
 
He was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Mississippi State University from 2017-2019 where he earned his Master’s Degree in Sport Administration. While at Mississippi State, Fresina worked with the Bulldog baseball team which saw two consecutive trips to the Men’s College World Series.
 
Fresina graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training after working with the football and baseball teams as well as working at a local high school. He is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Louisiana, holding certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED for the professional rescuer, Level I Graston Technique, and Dry Needling.
 
He is married to Kimmie, a graduate of the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing at ULM, and the couple has a son, Trace. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and attending other sporting events.
