Alec Osborne, a ULM football alum, was added to the football coaching staff in 2024 as the inside linebackers coach.
Osborne joins the ULM coaching staff after two seasons as a defensive quality control coach with Baylor, where he worked with the inside linebackers. He spent three seasons as a defensive graduate assistant coach at LSU from 2019-21. Prior to serving as a special teams quality control coach at Louisiana-Lafayette, Osborne spent one season as the defensive ends coach at McNeese in 2018. He launched his coaching career at Northwestern State in 2017. Osborne played for the Warhawks from 2012-16 and graduated with his bachelor's degree in finance and master's degree in sport management while at ULM. He and his wife, Kacey, have one son, Niles.
