Cameron Blankenship begins his second season as ULM football's offensive line coach in 2025.

The ULM offensive line paved the way for Sun Belt Freshman of the Year Ahmad Hardy, who led the conference in rushing yards (1,351) and rushing touchdowns (13). The Warhawks eclipsed 200 rushing yards in five games, the most by a ULM team since the 2019 season. Blankenship coached All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention offensive guard Elijah Fisher and mentored Sam Carson, who was drafted by the CFL’s Ottawa Redblacks in the 2025 draft.

Blankenship arrived at ULM after leading the New Mexico offensive line unit for the 2023 season. Under his watch, Blankenship's offensive line helped generate 2,312 rushing yards, which was the 19th-highest mark in the country. Before his time in Albuquerque, Blankenship was on the UAB football staff for seven seasons, serving as the assistant strength coach from 2016-21 and the offensive line coach in 2022. During his time in Birmingham, Blankenship assisted in the development of the offensive line since 2016 that produced 11 All-Conference USA players. The Alexander City, Alabama native was a three-year starter on the offensive line for the Blazers from 2012-14.
