Mark Modleski was named ULM football's Special Teams Coordinator and Chief of Staff & Player Personnel in 2024. 

Under Modleski’s leadership, the Warhawks excelled in special teams during the 2024 season. ULM led the Sun Belt Conference and ranked 11th in the country with three blocked kicks. The Warhawks also did not allow a blocked punt and ranked 37th in the nation in punt return defense. Modleski coached placekicker Max Larson, who finished 40th in the nation with a field goal percentage of 82.4% and punter Mackenzie Ryan, who ranked 10th in the concerence in punting. 

Modleski served as the running backs coach and the recruiting coordinator at Long Island University for two seasons. Modleski was on the UAB coaching staff in 2021 as a quality control coach and associate director of player personnel. He was a quality control coach at Arkansas from 2018-19 and a graduate assistant at Memphis in 2017. Modleski began his coaching career as the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2013 with a bachelor of arts degree in English.
