First-year walk-on spent the 2021-22 academic year at ULM but did not participate in football . . . HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS AND PERSONAL DATA: Participated in the 2020 Midsouth Association Independent Schools All-Star Game . . . played his senior year for Coach Kyle Stracener at Riverfield Academy in Rayville, Louisiana, and led the Raiders to a 12-1 record and the 2020 MAIS Class 4A Championship . . . named All-MAIS Class 4A Player of the Year after rushing for 1,828 yards on 176 carries (10.3 avg.) and scoring 31 rushing touchdowns as a senior; completed 58 percent (59-of-101) of his passes and seven more scores; accounted for 38 total TDs . . . ran 19 times for 186 yards and five TDs in a 49-14 victory over Wayne Academy in the MAIS Class 4A Championship Game . . . also lettered in baseball at Riverfield . . . began his prep career at Union Parish High School in Farmerville, La., where he was a three-year starter at quarterback for Coach Joe Spatafora . . . amassed 5,344 yards total offense and accounted for 69 total TDs in three seasons . . . completed 187-of-394 throws (.475) for 2,855 yards, 34 TDs and 21 interceptions for the Farmers . . . gained 2,489 rushing yards on 325 attempts (7.7 avg) and scored 35 rushing TDs . . .
