2015 (RS-Freshman)
First season as a defender could not have gone much better… Played in all 13 games and cracked the starting lineup five times… Made 49 tackles (31 solo)… Recorded then-personal bests of eight stops in consecutive weeks against Appalachian State and Idaho before exploding for 11 at Hawaii… Also had seven in the team’s year-ending win over New Mexico State… Had a solid five tackles (three solo) at Georgia in his debut.

2014 (Freshman)
Redshirted... Moved from running back to safety... Was twice named coaches’ scout team player of the week on defense (Texas State game week; UL-Lafayette game week).

Prep
Standout two-sport athlete at Chapel Hill High School... Played on both sides of the ball for head coach Thomas Sitton... As a senior, tallied 1,025 rushing yards and 14 rushing scores on offense (running back), while recording 125 tackles on the defensive side of the ball (linebacker)... Earned first team All-District honors at running back and linebacker following strong senior campaign... Was part of Bulldog state championship team in 2011... Also a member of the track and field team at Chapel Hill.
